At 14.4bn pounds, Crossrail is Europe's biggest infrastructure project. Stretching from Maidenhead and Heathrow in the west, through central London and across to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east, the new railway will cover 118km of track, including 21 km of new tunnels.
