Stora Enso unveiled plans for building a new plant to produce nano-packaging material for producing about 100,000 tonnes/ yr of lightweight board, the company reported last week.The microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) will be made in Imatra, Finland, and is "significantly lighter," stronger, and with "better barrier properties," officials said.
