Through the first two months of 2007,producers of all major boxboard and paper-tube grades are implementing price increases in most cases fully,fueled by higher demand,particularly exports,and escalating costs.For the third time since last June,pricing for coated recycled board (CRB) increased in the U.S.,rising,on average,30/ton,behind longer-than-usual mill backlogs and high operating rates,contacts said last week.There were no announced upcharges for specialty grades,calipers,or sheeting.
