Producers support new price increases for cutsize, offset rolls in June and July

Producers accounting for up to three-fourths of uncoated freesheet capacity in North America have lined up a 3/cwt (60/ton) price increase on cutsize and offset rolls effective this month and into July, market sources report. International Paper, the second largest producer, will raise cutsize prices effective June 23 and offset rolls July 1, sources said this week. Finch Paper on June 4 announced an increase on all products effective with shipments June 16.
