US NBSK gains $30/tonne on seasonal demand, mill downtime; 'tight' BHK supplies drive $15-20 jump

A combination of producer maintenance downtime and some improved paper and board demand were key factors leading bleached softwood kraft (BSK) market pulp prices up by $30/ tonne this month in North America. The increase is the second one this year, following a phased-in rise in January and February in the US and Canada.
