It's been conference season with added significance this year. First PAPTAC celebrated its centennial in Montreal in February. Then, TAPPI had its 99th anniversary at PaperCon in Nashville in April. Next year's centennial in Atlanta should be quite a show. Tn June, it was 100 years for the Finnish paper engineer's association (PI) which celebrated its 100th during PulPaper in Helsinki. Its gala tracing the history of the association over its 100 years was quite the event.
