Buckeye consolidates Memphis operations

Buckeye Technologies Inc.will consolidate cotton linter pulp operations at its Memphis,Term.,facility and lay off 100 employees at its Lumberton,N.C.,plant related to the change.The company also expects fiscal fourth-quarter costs of US2 million for the partial closure of the Lumberton mill.
