THE first impression is the last impression and in cieating the first impiession in a social interaction, a major role is played by one's dress as it reveals one's personality. Thus a dress reveals more than what it conceals. Also, it is said that oneis known from one's dress and address. Here also the dress comes before address, i.e. the way one speaks. It is so beause when someone is approaching you for the first time, his/her dress is seen before his/her voice is heard. Hence one must select one's clothes wisely so that they suit one's personality and thereby become an internal part of it and enrich it instead of detracting from it. The clothes must be selected in such a way that they emphaize positive features of the body and conceal the negative features.
