Many diseases attack rose and marigold flowers. The management practices of these diseases are important to produce healthy flowers that can fetch good price in the market. Flowers have become a part and parcel of everyday life and there is hardly any occasion where flowers are not used. Various flowers like rose, gladiolus, chrysanthemum, carnation, gerbera, tuberose, etc. are commonly traded in the domestic and international market. However, the rose and marigold deserve a special treatment, as the former is the queen of flowers and the latter has become the cash crops for the progressive farmers of the state. Many diseases like other crop plants attack these two flowers. The management practices of these diseases are important to produce healthyflowers that can fetch good price in the market.
