The effect of varying tillage system and different phosphorus and potassium fertilization on health status of spring wheat.

An experiment was conducted in Poland to evaluate the influence of three soil tillage systems and regeneration factors on the health status of spring wheat. The experiment was established according to a split-block design with two factors on good rye complex of soil. Symptoms appearing on stem bases and roots at milk-dough stage and the health status of spring wheat were determined. The highest infestation index of spring wheat roots by pathogenic fungi was shown after direct sowing, and the smallest after conventional tillage. The index was reduced after conventional tillage in the following years while it increased in the other treatments.
