摘要

Differences in the feeding behaviour of the grain aphid (Sitobion avenae) and the bird cherryoat aphid (Rhopalosiphum padi) on winter triticale were studied. S. avenae was characterized by less number of non-probing (Np event), total pathways (ABC event) and salivation into sieve elements (E1 event) than R. padi. Moreover, longer duration of phloem sap ingestion (E2 model) as well as total phloem activity (E1 + E2) were found for the grain aphid individuals. It was concluded that the nutritive usefulness of winter triticale was higher for S. avenae than R. padi.
