For more than 90 years, NASA's Langley Research Center (LaRC) in Hampton, Virginia has played a leading role in America's aviation and space research. As a premier location for U.S. aerospace research and testing, LaRC's wind tunnels, laboratories, and test structures have seen a dizzying array of aircraft and space vehicles. LaRC's work ranges from research that first enabled aircraft to fly at supersonic speeds through developing modern methods for orbital rendezvous and docking.
