Royal Group Goes on the Block

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products maker Royal Group Technologies (Woodbridge,ON) says it has put itself up for sale,following private equity firm Cerberus Capital Partners' (New York) expressed interest in buying the company for CUS14/share,oratotalofaboutCUS1.3 billion (US1 billion).Royal Group says it will make information available within the next two months to interested parties,including Cerberus.Royal Group adds that other parties have shown interest in acquiring the company.
