摘要

Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) has been extensively used for studying overall rates of polymer crystallization. The macroscopic kinetics of isothermal crystallization are usually described by the Avrami equation a = 1 - exp(-kt~m) (1) where a is the extent of conversion from the amorphous (liquid or solid) to crystalline phase, m is the Avrami exponent that is associated with the crystallization mechanism and k is the overall rate constant.
