摘要

When Barack Obama was sworn in as the United States of America's 44th president, he became more than that country's first black president. Amongst other things, Obama was also the first American president to pledge to widely use Web 2.0 technologies to engage and involve the community, and open the policies of the White House. "To help build a new foundation for the 21st century, we need to reform our government so that it is more efficient, more transparent, and more creative." Spoken by President Obama on 25 April 2009, these are the words that started the world movement of Gov 2.0. Gov 2.0 seems to be the buzzword on everyone's lips at the moment. And unlike other futuristic-sounding terms, this concept is here to stay.
