摘要

Coke formation is crucial in heavy oil processing. It is generally accepted that coke formation is related to the aggregates of highly condensed aromatic rings, the content of hydroaromatic hydrogen which is effective in delaying the aggregation and especially the high radical-scavenging efficiency of cycloalkyl hydrogens in hydrogenated hydroaromatics (1-3), it is of value to asses both aromatic ring condensation and cycloalkyl ring condensation of heavy oils and subfractions thereof.
