摘要

N-butyl o-nitrobenzoate was an important chemical material,which could find its use in many fields such as organic synthesis,solvent,perfume.As to esterification reaction,the conventional catalyst,concentrated sulfuric acid,had its own shortcomings and should be replaced by some new catalysts with less corrosiveness and higher selectivity.While p-toluene sulphonic acid was a strong organic acid,with no oxidic and carbonizing property,but high catalytic performance in case of many esterification reaction.However,there were several factors affect the final esterification ratio,such as the dose of catalyst,reaction time,and the ratio of n-butanol to o-nitrobenzoic acid.The orthogonal test was the most useful method to get the optimized reaction conditions and got widely use in many fields.In this paper,all of these factors had been examined by means of an orthogonal test to find the optimized reaction conditions.
