IT was nice last month to get away from "tax talk" for once. Unfortunately, in the world of estate planning, it seems taxes still drive much of the conversation. Because of the new estate tax limits and the uncertainty of the federal exemption, if your estate exceeds $2 million, consider reducing it so it will be no more than that at death — and you may want to shrink it down to more like $1 million, if you are pessimistic about Washington!
