PRODUCTION OF WELDABLE HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL CONCRETE REINFORCING BARS IN FERROPOL ROLLING MILL

In order to create conditions for production of rebars meeting specifications for high-strength categories in PN/ISO 6935-2 and international standards manufacturing technology in Ferropol rolling mill was modernised on the basis of an energy-efficient direct heat treatment method which in technical conditions of Ferropol mill made it possible to manufacture 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 mm diam. Deformed rebars in the RB500Wclass. The RB500W - FERROPOL rebars obtained approvals by Polish Institute of Civil Engineering (ITB) for use in Polish building industry and transportation engineering confirmed by Technical Approvals by ITB and Polish Research Institute of Roads and Bridges.
