Stora Enso secures financing from the IFC for Guangxi consumer board mill scheme in China

Stora Enso has partnered with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for its pulp and board mill project in Beihai city, in the Guangxi autonomous region of southwestern China. The IFC has agreed to invest some RMB 356 million ($58 million) in the project, representing a 5% stake. Stora Enso will hold an 83% stake. The remainder is held by two Chinese investors, Guangxi Forestry Group and Beihai Forestry Investment & Development.
