Dongguan city in China to shut 57 paper mills by June; sights on board and tissue capacity

China’s Dongguan city in the south- ern province of Guangdong has man- dated the shut of 57 board and tissue mills by June. This is part of the city’s plan to curb pollution, which was announced in September 2014. According to the plan, some 104 industrial plants, including 57 paper mills, will be shut down permanently.
