An influx of spot volumes from the USA has continued to drag down prices for US recovered paper (RCP) bulk grades in China over the past two weeks. Giving momentum to the price fall, the growing concern over the ongoing depreciation of the Chinese renminbi against the US dollar has led to Chinese buyers holding back on purchases of RCP imports altogether.
