摘要

Laboratory experiments and trials in Huta T. Sendzimira resulted in development and implementation of industrial technology and equipment making it possible to recirculate a proportion of waste gases (some 20-22 percent or 60000-70000 std cu m/h) back to the sintering belt. Over a period of more than 6 months it was confirmed that such recirculation of waste gases resulted in significant reduction in emission of harmful gases (especially CO and SO_2) and dust without adverse effects on sintering plant operation and quality of sinter.
