Australia’s boost to anti-dumping authority welcomed by local P&P mills

The Australian federal government is moving to introduce reforms to the coun- try’s anti-dumping system that may im- pact the pulp and paper market. These reforms include directing the country’s Anti-Dumping Commission to introduce provisional duties and measures as early as possible (currently on day 60 of an investigation) and more stringent deadlines for information submissions (37 days after the start of investigations instead of 40).
