APP joins ranks of worldwide BHK producers on downtime; shuts coincide with price talks

In the face of a pressured pulp market and various water supply problems, several fiber producers are taking downtime this quarter to a degree that may effect pricing. Due to water shortages in Indonesia, Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) has been forced to join the ranks of hardwood pulp producers taking downtime.
