Japanese P&B firms see mixed results over year ending in March; write-downs hurt profits

During the financial year ending March 2016, results have been mixed for the leading Japanese paper and board (P&B) companies surveyed there, with five out of the nine seeing their profits slip. Over the year, many of the firms benefitted from perceived improvements in the Japanese economy and in general demand.
