Samuel Manu-Tech Inc.constructs new manufacturing facility in Heath,Ohio

SAMUEL Manu-Tech Inc.(SMT-TSX) is pleased to announce continued investment in its Industrial Packaging Business in North America with the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Heath,Ohio.The Heath facility will allow for the installation of new state-of-the-art steel strapping equipment as well as the upgrade and consolidation of existing production equipment from the Company's Scarborough,Ontario and Columbus,Ohio facilities.This new 151,000 sq.ft.plant location will have easy access to rail and truck transportation allowing it to provide improved distribution support for its United States customer base.
