Assam gas cracker project runs into trouble again

THE Assam gas cracker project has run in to more problems.The GAIL board has reportedly refused to accord sanction to the Rs.5,460 crore project -despite the fact that the Cabinet has approved the proposal - on the ground that fuel supply agreements for the project are not in place with ONGC,Oil India Ltd.(OIL) and Numaligarh Refinery Ltd.(NRL).
