A review of innovative technologies for plastics and waste management

摘要

Plastics are the most sought after materials in the industry today for innovative technologies.Because of their wide use and indiscriminate throwing after use they have become a cause of generation of solid waste.The inroad of the applications of these materials has gone to such an extent that law is being enforced for stringently monitoring their suitability in use for controlling waste.These laws/regulations become a driving force for finding alternative technologies which can consume less materials and energy and eliminate waste in efficient processes.In this study such technologies are discussed for management of waste related to plastics.
