Thermosets currently comprise around 25% of world palstic consumption.They are extremely versatile and are used in a wide range of applications from mouldings and composites to adhesives.The use of thermosets dates back over 100 years to the advent of phenolics.Today,a large range of different reactive chemicals is used in the synthesis of these resins.
