Ministry more inclined towards IOC?

There are some reports that indicate that the Ministry had taken a dim view of Gail's proposal and viewed IOC's proposal more favourably,due better synergy with HPL in terms of projects,location,feedstock,core competence and marketing.According to the Ministry,IOC's proposal to take a minimum of 26% stake in HPL with management control made more commercial sense than Gail's plans.
