The use of plastics in medical applications is expected to continue its steady growth as new polymers edge out metals,ceramics,and other traditional aterials.Innovative materials are replacing the conventinal ones.The need to reduce healthcare cost and use of a disposable medical supplies are important factors generating a higher demand of medical plastics.
