Tocumwal QAF contract grower opts for Aussie made feed system

Geoff and Kate McPherson own a 213 hectare property just out of Tocumwal in Murray Riverland. Up until four years ago they grew rice and raised sheep but lack of water drove them to look for a more stable source of income. Becoming a QAF contract grower was a smart move, Geoff reckons, and today he thoroughly enjoys being a pig farmer. He appreciates the security of a regular income and the on going assistance and encouragement he gets from his QAF contract Grower Manager, Dave Harrison. The growingoperation now consists of twelve sheds that hold up to 4500 weaner to 21 week old pigs.
