'CHIRICHI' is one of Italy's top four brands of poultrymeat products. Based in the rich agricultural and wine producing region of Emilia Romagna in the coastal area in the north-east of the country, their vast integration encompasses feedmilling, hatcheries, company-owned and contract farms supplying the processing plants with chickens, turkeys and other poultry They currently produce 22 million broilers and about 1.2 million turkeys, just over half of which are produced on their own farms. The group is one of the most successful in Italy with an annual turnover well in excess of 200 mrd ITL and growing steadily by about 10% a year.
