Jindal Films Americas to install new BOPP film line at its LaGrange GA facility

Jindal Films Americas (JFA) is investing US$180 million in its facility at LaGrange in Troup County, Georgia. The investment will include expanding the facility, which currently employs around 200 staff, to incorporate the relocation of its existing research and development centre and national headquarters to the site as well as the installation of additional BOPP film, metallizing, coating and slitting capacity. The expansion will create 240 new jobs at the plant. Installation of the new 10.5 meter BOPP film line, scheduled for Q4, 2016, will increase capacity by more than 50,000 tons per year. The metallizer, which will add 10,000 tons of additional capacity, will be installed in Q3, 2016.
