BOPP film price falls in Saudi Arabia in Q1, 2015

Prices paid for 20 micron plain co-extruded BOPP film in Saudi Arabia have come down by about 14% during Q1, 2015 to US$1.75 – US$1.90 / kg due to falls in resin costs in mid-January. Anticipation of further price reductions have been replaced by expected rises in March of at least 5 Cents / kg. One Saudi BOPP film producer has already increased its export prices by 3 Cents / kg.
