India's Chiripal Poly Films expands BOPP film capacity

Chiripal Polyfilm Ltd has recently announced the start-up of a new BOPP film line at it's Gujarat, Indiabased production facility. The new line, which began production in early December, is an 8.7 metre, 460 metre per minute wide, Bruckner machine, with an annual capacity of around 40,000 tpa. Introduction of the line takes the company's total BOPP film capacity to around 74,000 tpa. with around 30% of production being targeted at export markets and the balance for domestic Indian consumption.
