BOPP film price rises in Egypt during Q2, 2012

In Egypt, prices paid for 20 micron plain co-extruded BOPP film have gone up by around 15% during Q2, 2012 to US$ 2.30 – US$2.70 / kg, with most at the lowest point of this range. Both domestic and imported volumes are priced at a similar level. Prices have risen as a result of higher raw material costs as well as healthy demand in Egypt itself.
