Dr McNamara highlighted the many ways in which eggs can contribute to human health at the latest conference of the International Egg Commission. Dr Donald McNamara, of America's Egg Nutrition Center, brought some good news and some even better news about eggs to the recent International Egg Commission conference in Seville, Spain. The American Heart Association had "had a change of heart" and was no longer putting a limit on the number of eggs that could be eaten. "Research now indicates that peoplewho didn't eat eggs had the highest rate of heart disease. And where egg consumption was highest, heart disease was lowest" he added.
