International Egg Commission Meets In Australia

Delegates from as far afield as China, Japan, South Africa, Europe and North America attended the International Egg Commission's Production and Marketing Conference in Brisbane, Australia 2-7 October. While the total registration of 170 from 17 countries was below the average for this annual event, those present represented a large sector of the world's egg and egg product industries. Indeed, the largest egg producers attending from the USA owned more layers than the total commercial flock in Australia of 10 million birds.
