摘要

We wish to raise concerns regarding the reporting of clinical trial data in the work of Langhammer and Stanghelle, with regard to two papers in particular: their initial report published in Clinical Rehabilitation in 2000 (Langhammer and Stanghelle, 2000) and their subsequent paper published in the International Journal of Physiotherapy Research in 2010 (Langhammer and Stanghelle, 2010). Our concerns are described in the following text. International standards for reporting clinical trials are published and updated in the CONSORT statement, with specific guidelines developed for non-pharmacological trials, including rehabilitation interventions (Boutron et al., 2008).
