摘要

The title compound, [ClFe(thiazole)(4)-O-FeCl3] (1) has been synthesized by the hydrolysis of anhydrous FeCl3 in an ethanol-thiazole solvent mixture. Compound 1 consists of a tetrahedrally coordinated OFeCl3 group bridged by the oxo ligand to an Fe(thiazole)(4)Cl group, wherein the thiazole groups occupy the equatorial positions in an octahedral coordination polyhedron.
