ASPECTS OF DESIGNING AND MANUFACTURING OF MICRO-PARTS AND APPLICATION OF MICRO INJECTION MOLDING TECHNOLOGY

Selected problems related to the designing of the products made of polymeric materialsformed by micro injection molding were discussed.Polymeric thermoplastic materials used in thismethod were characterized and their specific properties (Table 1) were stressed.Examples of basicapplications of micro injection molding technology as well as of the polymeric micro-parts producedby this way (Fig.1-5),with especially stressed possibility of metal micro-parts (Fig.6) fabrication,were presented.
