Mitsubishi wins order to high-performance polyethylene

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. has received an order to build production lines for high-performance polyethylene for U.S. oil giant Exxon Mobil Corp. The value of the contract was not released. The deal is a sign of growing opportunities for Japanese companies to win orders amid increased investments in the petrochemical business field following an increase in shale gas production.
