Germany's machinery exports head to China

China bought 13.5% of exports of German plastics and rubber machinery in 2009 - more than any other country - pushing Asia up from 12th to 4th place in the table of sales markets, according to the VDMA.The US came second after China, even though exports to that market were down 41.7%.
