26th Chinaplas 2012 held in Shanghai between 18th April to 21 st April was a 30% bigger show than last time, covering gross area of 2,10,000 sq. mtrs, 2600 exhibitors from 35 countries in 17halls and 13 country pavilions, visited by nearly one lakh visitors.This time they had 11 theme zones viz. Injection Moulding zone, Extrusion Machinery zone, Blow Moulding zone, Die Mould zone, Auxiliary & Testing Equipment Zone, Raw Material Zone, Plastic Packaging Zone, Other Machinery & Equipment zone and a Future zone to present Far-Beyond-lmagination of future applications. Premium Design Gallery was there in Future Zone to collaborate with the top universities and design institutes to facilitate technology exchanges between trade industry and academics to push future growth in new areas like Energy-Saving, New Automobile Design etc.
