A U.S.research group funded by the PVC resin industry has granted its first license to produce a new-heavy-metal-free stabilizer that could be available as early as 2007.Akron,Ohio-based Edison Polymer Innovation Corp.declined to identify the licensee,saying only that the firm is "a leading U.S.corporation."
