It was rather quiet on the European market for engineering thermoplastics in December. In some instances, the price of small quantities of ABS, PA 6.6, POM and PMMA located at the upper ends of the price range shed a few euros, which made the widespread rollover appear comparatively weak. Notations for larger orders were, as usual, supported by longer-running - mostly quarterly - agreements. There was nothing extraordinary to report pn the supply side either. Production lines were largely adjusted to the poor demand situation, and there was no evidence of large volumes lingering in stock or arriving via the import channel. As a result, bargain hunters were left empty-handed.
