TOKYO-A Japanese government panel June 5 proposed establishing a system for managing asbestos waste,anticipating an increase in its volume over the coming years.At the June 5 meeting of the Waste and Recycling Subcommittee of the Ministry of Economy's Central Environmental Policy Council,panel members recommended establishing a system to handle asbestos waste that would allow municipalities and others to receive and dispose of it,an MOE official said June 9.
