Injection speeds up to 500 mm/sec are now standard on smaller sizes of all-electric Elject NEX machines from Nis-sei,represented here by Nissei America Inc.,Anaheim,Calif.The 20-,33-,and 55-ton models get the speed increase (from 300 mm/sec previously) through new low-inertia,high-powered servomotors that also deliver a 16-millisec response time-half that of previous design.
